Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport (PCCI)
1000 Brady Street
Davenport, IA, U.S.A. 52803
The Davenport Campus is located in the Quad Cities—a large metropolitan area (pop. 400,000) in the Mississippi River Valley. As the original Palmer campus, it is referred to as “The Fountainhead” and retains the College’s rich history.
Today some 1,300 students study here, earning Doctor of Chiropractic, Associate of Science in Chiropractic Technology, Bachelor of Science, General Science and Master of Science degrees within facilities that are second to none.
Almost all buildings on the eight-acre campus are connected by a skywalk and covered walkways. The newest—the state-of-the-art Academic Health Center—opened in July 2007. It houses the Davenport Clinic, Clinical Radiology and Chiropractic Rehabilitation and Sports Injury.
The Davenport Campus also is home to the largest chiropractic research center in the world—the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research, with a clinic, laboratories and research facilities.
Another outstanding campus feature is the David D. Palmer Health Sciences Library with a collection of 52,000 volumes, audio-visual viewing areas and a Special Collections Department considered the most comprehensive chiropractic historical resource in the world.
